About me
Hello, I’m Linda! I’m a psychotherapist specialising in anxiety, stress, anger management, and self-identity exploration. With a deep understanding of the complexities of cultural transitions, relationships, and high-pressure work environments, I offer bilingual counseling sessions in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
My Own Journey
As a 'citizen of nowhere,' I was born and raised in China and have lived in the U.S., UK, and Singapore, spending much of my life exploring new countries and cultures. Along the way, I’ve shaped an identity beyond family and cultural roots, adapting to new environments and learning how to thrive. My cross-cultural marriage has also deepened my understanding of bridging cultural differences and building a meaningful life with someone from a different background.Corporate Experience
Before entering the mental health field, I spent over a decade in fast-paced, high-pressure corporate roles across functions including sales, research analysis, and consulting. During this time, I mentored and coached younger colleagues on setting boundaries, navigating workplace conflicts, improve story-telling and presentation, negotiating promotions, and communicating effectively to key stakeholders. This experience equips me to support high achievers - especially women - in clarifying what they truly want, becoming more authentic and assertive, and thriving in their careers.

Mind and Body
Beyond counselling, I’m also an aerobics athlete and fitness instructor who have worked in leading barre studios in both China and Singapore. I believe that when our minds are distressed, our bodies feel the impact, manifested in psychological symptoms, such as headaches, neck strain, and fatigue.I create fun, engaging, and effective exercise inspired by ballet and pilates movement tailored to each client, helping to improve mental well-being and achieve their fitness goals.
My Approach
I use an existential, humanistic, client-centred approach rooted in respect, empathy, and understanding. This means our session is about you - your experiences, values, and goals.
Self-understanding
Using a client-centred approach, I focus on the "here and now," helping you unblock your emotions, clarify your core beliefs and values, and understand how past experiences shape your reactions, inner voice, and behaviours. This deeper self-awareness sets the foundation for meaningful change.
Experimenting
With an existential-humanistic approach, I invite you to question familiar patterns and explore new perspectives in a supportive space. Together, we’ll gently challenge long-held beliefs, expanding your capacity for choice and adaptability. This process nurtures a compassionate, flexible mindset, helping you approach life with a balanced, fresh understanding.
Unlocking
Change takes courage, and I’m here to support you. As we deepen self-awareness and explore new choices, you’ll find the strength to embrace challenges and unlock your potential. Together, we’ll break old patterns, empowering you to live with greater purpose, joy, and fulfillment.
“In any given moment we have two options: to step forward into growth or to step back into safety.”
